Pitch and Pine Black Pulling Salve

This ancient salve is great for any bite wound or splinter.  The pine resin is the star ingredient here. For trees, resin is their first line of defense. When a tree is injured, the resin seeps out as an antibacterial agent that seals the wound.  It does the same for our skin.  This salve is also filled with herbal infused oils.  One of those herbs is plantain.  Plantain has antivenomous and drawing properties.   Another infused herb, Yarrow, is known for its blood clotting and general wound healing properties.  Next, I added Rhassoul Clay and Activated Charcoal both of which help bind to toxins and draw them out.  This salve is lightly scented with pine essential oil.
