A his and her pairing:
Aphrodite's Embrace: A great tea for a date night! Named after the Greek Goddess of Love, the main ingredient of this tea, Damiana, has a history of being used to inspire romance. It's been paired with floral notes and spice making it great for any evening.
Ingredients: (All organic) Damiana, Rose Petals, Passion Flower, Ginger, Cloves, Cassia Cinnamon
Eros Blend: This blend has a bit of spice to it so I paired it with a Chai base. This tea blend is great for men of all ages as it may help balance testosterone levels. It is the counter to our Aphrodite's Embrace blend for women. One herb they both have in common is Damiana. Historically, Damiana has been used as a nervine stimulant, anti-depressant, and to balance hormones. However, it was used most commonly as an aphrodisiac. This goes all of the way back to ancient times. Most impressively, this tea contains Saw Palmetto. This is the herb that gives this tea a bit of a spicy bite. Saw Palmetto is an herb that boasts many potential benefits to men. When an herbalist is looking for a prostate herb, they turn to Saw Palmetto. Some studies have found that Saw Palmetto may help inhibit the growth of prostate cells. It has been used traditionally to balance testosterone levels, help with impotence, and even help with male hair loss as it blocks the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (which is a hormone said to contribute to hair loss). The berries in this tea are Juniper berries. This is another fantastic herb that helps regulate hormones and encourages prostate health. Nettle, once again, has been added to potentially help with inflammation of the prostate gland.
Ingredients: (All organic) Ginger root, Cinnamon bark, Darjeeling tea, Cardamom, Cloves, Nutmeg, Peppercorns, Sweet Cinnamon, Damiana, Juniper Berries, Stinging Nettle, Rosehips, Ashwagandha, Saw Palmetto
