This tallow was formulated with the face in mind but it can surely be used all over. It's been infused with organic herbs that are known for their anti-inflammatory properties and their ability to lighten dark spots on your face. I have also lightly scented this tallow with lavender which is also gentle for your face while promoting clear skin (due to its anti-microbial properties) and the soothing of redness and inflammation. An important note is that this tallow has been sourced from organic grass fed beef. It is more nutrient dense than its grain fed counterpart. Tallow, especially when sourced from grass fed beef, is full of CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and vitamins A, B12, D, E, and K. CLA has been shown to stimulate epidermal regeneration and reduce inflammation which, in turn, promotes a more youthful appearance to your skin.
*You will receive this tallow in a light whipped state, however, if exposed to heat and cooled again it could take on a salve consistency.
